I grew up with the most sensitive skin, especially on my face. I have always been very careful when selecting beauty products, and double check that the ingredients are not filled with harsh chemicals. I have been eager to try a new beauty regimen, and was excited to hear more about Dermalogica and their skin treatments. Their process is different from a facial because a skin treatment is designed specifically for your skin type, which is something I have been looking for. My Dermalogica skin treatment started by talking one on one with the skin expert and filling out a questionaire for her to understand my skin concerns. I voiced how sensitive my skin was and how it can easily become dry. The next part was the skin treatment. She explained each step fully and said she would use the UltraCalming line on me. She started by exfoliating my skin, double cleansed, did a few extractions, along with a massage and masques. After it was done, I was so relaxed and calm. My skin expert then took me through the Face Mapping skin analysis and recommended products that she felt best suited me. More about my experience after the break...

That day, and every day since, my skin has been glowing. It feels more hydrated and is softer. I really can’t believe why I haven’t gone sooner. I definitely recommend it, especially to people with sensitive skin who have been hesitant to try new products. I have been following the recommendations of my skin expert. I cleanse my face with the UltraCalming Cleanser, which makes my skin feel clean but not parched. I then add a sprtiz of the UltraCalming Mist, which add more hydration to my skin. Then, I add the UltraCalming Serum Concentrate to calm my sensitivity. In the morning, I moisturize with the Super Sensitive Shield, which I love since it has sunscreen in it. It’s hydrating, without being greasy. My night routine is a bit different. At night, I use the Precleanse before cleansing, which dissolves all my make-up and build-up from the day and then end with Skin Soothing Cream, which keeps my skin so soft and moisturized. Also, because I have dry skin, the Daily Microfoliant has done wonders. It helps exfoliate and unclogs pores. I am going to continue this new beauty routine and give you all an update on how it’s going. I would love to know if you are using any of these products and how they have been helping you!
