Being so busy at work and spending so much time moving and settling into my new place, I’ve just realized that the end of summer is here. I’ve teamed up with Target® to share my favorite end of summer activity, which is swimming on a sunny afternoon. It’s not only great cardio, but also so much fun! Now that there’s a pool where I live, I have to take advantage. If I'm in the pool with my girlfriends, I like to tread water while we're chatting, which burns 50 calories every 5 minutes. You can do this by simply, moving your arms horizontally and moving your legs in a circle, while staying afloat. So easy! If I'm on alone in the pool, I love to swim laps and try different types of strokes. A breast stroke is great for your chest and thighs, while the butterfly works out your chest and abs.
