I have been planning to create more beauty DIY’s here on the blog. I hope you enjoy them! Valentine’s Day is just around the corner. With love in the air, I wanted to create a fun nail art DIY with hearts. Every time I look down at my nails, I can’t help but smile. For this tutorial, I used Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure nail polish. I love the wider precision brush and gel like finish. I wanted to share that you can receive a free Sally Hansen Salon Manicure nail polish when you buy 3 U by Kotex products at Target! Offer available in all Target stores 12/29/13-2/22/14.

- Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure nail polish (Kook a Mango and Arm Candy)
- painter’s tape
- scissors

1. Paint your nails the base color.  I used Kook a Mango.
2.  Tear off a piece of painter’s tape about 2 inches long.  Fold in half (sticky side on the outside).  Then, cut a half heart shape (as shown in photo) small enough to fit the size of your nail.
3. Unfold, and check that the shape and size will fit on your nail.
4. Place the tape centered onto one of your nails.  Make sure it is fully stuck on.
5. Paint the over the heart cutout with your second nail polish color.  I used Arm Candy. Then, slowly pull off tape.
