DIY | ATHLETIC TEE

7.15.2013
I am so excited to finally show you the results of my DIY athletic tee. You can find my inspiration in a previous post (here). I decided on Kate Moss because I adore her and her style. I have seen a variety of sporty tees with designer and musician names. Have fun with your pick! Full tutorial after the break...

Materials:
- package of t-shirt transfers
- scissors
- t-shirt (find mine here)

Steps:
1. Measure the front panel of your shirt to decide on how big your numbers and letters will be. Then, type your text on Photoshop using these measurements. Follow the directions given in your t-shirt transfer packet. Each brand is slightly different. Note: there are two versions (one for white fabric and another for dark fabric). Then, print out your letters and numbers.
2. Carefully cut each out letter and number.
3. Layout the letters and numbers on your shirt, then place your given wax paper over them. Then, iron onto your shirt. Again, follow the directions on your t-shirt transfer packet, since each brand is slightly different.
