DIY | RHINESTONE VINYL BEAD BRACELET

6.09.2013
Lately, all I want to wear is all white or black, but I still love to add small pops of color somewhere in my look.  My favorite way to do this is through my accessories, especially my arm candy. With this rhinestone vinyl bead bracelet, you can get creative with your color choices and rhinestone gem combinations.  I have been wearing these non-stop since I first made them.  Can't wait to make a couple more! Full tutorial after the break...

 Materials:
- clear elastic cord
- sew on rhinestones (here and here)
- vinyl beads (here)
- scissors

Steps:
 1. Cut two pieces of elastic cording about 3 times the circumference of your wrist. Choose your rhinestone design. Then, loop one cord through the right holes of your rhinestone gems and loop the other cord through the left holes. Keep the gems in the center of the cords (so that there is the same length of cords on each side of the gems).
2. Loop both elastic cords through the vinyls beads on the right side of the gems. Have fun with your color choices. Then, loop both elastic cords through the vinyls beads on the left side of the gems. Continue adding vinyl beads until the length of the beads and rhinestones is about 3/4 to 1" larger than the circumference of your wrist.
3. Once the length is good, double knot the elastic cords together and cut the excess.

Oh! That is definitely a unique twist on colored bracelets using sew on beads instead of actual jewelry beads!
