HOLIDAY SWEATER DIY WITH OLD NAVY

During this holiday party season,  I wanted to share a couple simple sweater DIY's. I have partnered with Old Navy to show you how you take an already adorable sweater, and add a few personal touches to make it fun, holiday chic! They are so perfect with colored skinny jeans for a more casual look or pair it with a metallic or leather flippy skirt to create a nighttime vibe. Full tutorial after the break...

#1) DIY Sequin Letter Sweater with Pom Poms

Materials:

- Old Navy Honeycomb Knit-Crew Sweater 

- Pom Poms

- Sequin Letters

- e6000 adhesive

Steps:

1. Think of a fun holiday word that will fit across the chest of the sweater. I chose "joy". Arrange the letters at the front chest. Sew onto the sweater, using a needle and thread. (Another option would be to use e6000 and glue the sequin letters in place).

2. Sew the pom poms onto the sleeves, using a needle and thread. Space them out evenly.

#2) DIY Rhinestone Heart Sweater

Materials:

- Old Navy Honeycomb Knit-Crew Sweater 

- Rhinestone Embellishment

Steps:

1. Arrange the rhinestones on the front of the sweater in the shape of a heart.

2. Once you have the shape you are satisfied with, add a small dab of e6000, and glue them in place. Let dry overnight.
