diy | spiked bracelet & ring

11.22.2011
I definitely have studs and spikes on my brain. When I saw these spiked bracelets and rings by Joomi Lim, I swooned... and instantly knew what my next diy inspiration would be. Here's how to make your own...

Materials:
- chain
- screw on spikes (here) (note: i used 1/2" silver tree spikes)
- screwdriver
- 2 jump rings
- lobster claw

Steps:
1 & 2. Measure your wrist and cut the chain to desired length. Evenly space 5 - 6 spikes onto the chain, and screw on the using a screwdriver.

3. Attach a jump ring to each end of the chain. Add a lobster claw to one of the jump rings... and you're done! If you want to make a ring version, follow the same steps using the measurements for your finger. Also, I did not use a lobster claw for the ring, just one jump ring to connect the ends of the chain.

Enjoy!!
